Western Slope Laboratory was started by an academic professor whose career was based around research and development in pharmacology. Dr. Schneider’s vision was to operationalize testing capabilities developed through research and collaborative efforts. Since inception, Western Slope has continued the goals of its founder and has kept its roots deep in collaboration and application development.
Each year, scientists from Western Slope present work all over the world in the fields of toxicology and therapeutic drug monitoring. Our current research platforms include investigation for the application for testing in the oral fluid matrix. These applications include a salivary lead test, ethanol consumption biomarkers and their comparison to other biomarkers including breath, pain management testing and comparison to other biomarkers, and human growth hormone detection. Health and Wellness testing is also a research platform drawing attention at Western Slope.
To date, Western Slope has published and presented six peer reviewed articles, 19 conference presentations, three scientific networking sessions, and two workshops. Additionally, WSL holds 13 patents worldwide.
We are committed to the furthering of the toxicology and therapeutic drug monitoring fields. If you have an interesting research idea or platform in which you want to investigate, we would love to discuss it with you.
