Services are neither offered nor provided to federally-funded healthcare programs or beneficiaries thereof, including Medicare, Medicaid, State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), Department of Defense (Tricare), VHA, Indian Health Services (IHS), U.S. Department of Labor Workers’ Compensation and the Federal Railroad Workers’Health Care program.

While especially known for its saliva testing capabilities, Western Slope Laboratory's offerings include quantitative analysis of urine and saliva for large numbers of drugs of abuse, prescription drugs, steroids, heavy metals, synthetic cannabinoids, synthetic cathinones, piperazines and analytes associated with functional and integrative medicine laboratory testing (Vitamins, Metals and Toxic Elements, Amino Acids, Fatty Acids, Organic Acids, etc.)

Western Slope Laboratory designs and produces effective and high-quality Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs) as a specialized reference laboratory. Our current research and development efforts are centered on the detection and measurement of heavy metals in saliva and detecting and measuring analytes important to functional and integrative medicine practitioners.
